Calgary Wellness Advocate

Position: Calgary Wellness Advocate Role
Become a key player in community support as a Wellness Advocate at The Mustard Seed’s Community Impact Center in Calgary. This full-time position is focused on helping individuals facing homelessness and related challenges.

As a Wellness Advocate, you will work directly with clients in need, providing advocacy and resources to help them navigate their journeys out of poverty. Your responsibilities will include client assessments, goal setting, and connecting individuals with essential services. Join a passionate allied health team dedicated to uplifting vulnerable community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of client needs and objectives

• Facilitate the intake process and document client data

• Create a welcoming and safe environment for clients

• Advocate for clients' rights within community systems

• Collaborate with partners to provide comprehensive support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Strong administrative and interpersonal skills

• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record required
