In this position, you will work directly with youth and families, collaborating within a team committed to mental well-being. The Senior Youth & Family Counsellor will oversee therapeutic responsibilities, participate in various meetings, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment. Rotating shifts offer coverage 24/7, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate structured programs for personal and social development
• Engage in team meetings and case conferences for client support
• Maintain living space and assist in administrative tasks
• Lead program staff in a therapeutic environment
• Ensure adherence to health and safety practices
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Four years' experience in youth and family support
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Experience working with young people preferred
