As a full-time, permanent Customized Employment Specialist, your goal is to assist individuals with disabilities and complex needs in securing community-based employment. You will conduct comprehensive Discovery assessments, negotiate job placements, and aid clients in navigating barriers to employment. Bring your expertise in developing individualized plans that cater to unique client needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Discovery assessments identifying client strengths and barriers
• Develop and implement customized employment plans
• Collaborate with employers to create job opportunities
• Offer coaching and support during job placements
• Engage with clients in their communities for tailored solutions
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Sciences or relevant field
• 2+ years experience in customized employment services
• Familiarity with complex needs and barriers to employment
• Proficient in maintaining accurate client records
• Willingness to complete additional training post-hire
