Join The Mustard Seed as a Wellness Advocate in Calgary, providing essential support to individuals experiencing homelessness. This full-time position focuses on advocacy and resource allocation to enhance client wellbeing.

You will play a pivotal role in the Community Impact Center, connecting clients with the resources necessary for their transition to stable living conditions. Working as part of an interdisciplinary health team, you will assess needs, set goals with clients, and facilitate access to services. Your excellent relationship-building skills will foster a trusting environment for those seeking support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs and prioritize support through advocacy

• Manage intake processes and document client progress

• Foster welcoming and safe spaces for clients

• Educate clients on available resources and rights

• Maintain strong partnerships with service providers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or equivalent

• 1-3 years of applicable experience preferred

• MS Office proficiency required

• Demonstrated strong organizational skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record required
