Enviros is an innovative social services agency that provides critical, individualized programs to children, youth, adults and families in vulnerable situations to meet their desired outcomes and wellness. Triveri House is a place‑based supportive housing program for young people aged 18‑29 experiencing chronic and episodic homelessness. Working under a harm‑reduction model, the program uses an intensive case‑management (ICM) model to help young adults create stability and overall wellbeing in their lives.
The Position – Case Manager – Triveri HouseThis full‑time, 12‑month contract position provides direct support to tenants, ensuring financial supports are in place and facilitating access to health, mental health, food bank, community supports, and adult education. The case manager acts as a systems navigator, identifying individual needs, developing plans, and advocating for tenants to receive entitled supports. Responsibilities also include facilitating meetings, leading in‑house workshops and trainings, and providing on‑site support for tenants throughout their daily routines.
The role requires crisis management, response to medical and mental health emergencies, and support for hygienic practices. Case managers operate seven days a week, covering days, evenings, and weekends.
- A degree or diploma in a related field of study.
- 3‑5 years of experience working with youth and young adults at risk of homelessness.
- Experience with in the Calgary Homeless Foundation network of service providers is an asset.
- Current criminal record check, including vulnerable sector check, completed within the last 6 months.
- Current Alberta Intervention Record check completed within the last 12 months.
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED ‘C’ certificate.
- Class 4 or 5 driver’s licence (Class 5 GDL not accepted).
- Intervention Record Check (IRC) must be completed prior to the employee’s start date.
- Criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check (VSC), must be completed prior to the employee’s start date.
