Caseworker Homeless

Position: Caseworker for Homeless Support
Join Alpha House as a Caseworker focused on homelessness, utilizing a strength-based approach to support individuals facing mental health challenges. This role is permanent full-time from Sunday to Thursday.

In this position, you will use your two years of case management experience to create meaningful action plans and conduct assessments that directly impact clients’ lives.

Your role will be crucial in providing crisis intervention and managing clients through their housing transitions. You'll coordinate with outreach services and help establish a healthy home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop actionable plans with clients through assessments

• Manage client progress and identify challenges

• Deliver timely crisis intervention and support

• Provide essential referrals to local agencies

• Assist with client move-ins and ensure clean residences

Requirements:

• Completion of at least a two-year related post-secondary education

• Minimum of two years working with homeless populations

• Clear driver's license and driving experience

• In-depth knowledge of community support services

• Understanding of cultural issues related to homelessness
