In this position, you will conduct intake interviews, assist clients with crisis management, and provide valuable referrals to community resources. Engaging collaboratively with families, you will aim to navigate complex challenges and facilitate access to vital services. Invest your skills in advocating for families while ensuring their dignity and needs are prioritized.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate client intakes and ongoing support
• Empower families through guidance and advocacy
• Coordinate meetings to support complex family issues
• Connect families with essential community resources
• Maintain client records and administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Diploma in social service or related field
• Minimum one year of relevant frontline experience
• Understanding of family struggles, especially for newcomers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must complete a Police Information Check
Drive meaningful change in family systems while working with The Salvation Army in Calgary.
