Position: Youth & Family Counsellor with Wood's Homes
Become a Youth & Family Counsellor with Wood's Homes, working overnight in Calgary. Deliver essential mental health support and enhance the social functions of children and families in need.

This permanent overnight role requires a dedicated professional with a diploma/degree in social sciences and 2-4 years of relevant experience. You will be actively involved in providing therapeutic care and managing essential case responsibilities while working collaboratively with your team. Your shift commitment will ensure round-the-clock support for your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster personal growth in structured client settings

• Attend and contribute to case conferences and team events

• Manage diverse therapeutic tasks for children and families

• Ensure program standards are met in living areas

• Assist with meals and logistics for youth participants

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in social sciences or relevant discipline

• At least 2-4 years of related experience required

• CPR and First Aid certifications up-to-date

• Must hold a valid class 5 driver's license

• Working with young people is preferred
