PBSH Caseworker

Position: PBSH Support Caseworker
Alpha House seeks a PBSH Caseworker in Calgary to provide essential support and foster housing stability for individuals dealing with addiction and mental health issues. This full-time role is dedicated to compassionate, individualized care.

Working 3 days on and 3 days off from 7 am to 7 pm, you’ll join a committed team delivering services based on harm reduction and trauma-informed care.

Your role will focus on building trusting relationships with clients while employing strong advocacy and crisis management skills to assist those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in case management to support client needs

• Implement individualized harm reduction strategies

• Utilize de-escalation techniques during crises

• Build rapport and trust with clients through empathy

• Ensure confidentiality in all client interactions

Requirements:

• Minimum two-year diploma in Human Services (or similar)

• Frontline experience with vulnerable populations

• Knowledge of housing-first models and trauma-informed care

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Valid Class 5 driver license and clear driving history
