The Calgary Counselling Centre is expanding and seeks a skilled male counsellor with a Master's degree in Counselling or a related field. You will co-facilitate family violence prevention groups, support participants in developing accountability, and create a respectful group environment. Experience in individual counselling and group facilitation is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual counselling to program participants
• Co-facilitate court-mandated group sessions
• Create a respectful and supportive group environment
• Assist in reducing Intimate Partner Violence
• Maintain professional documentation and standards
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
• Eligibility for registration with regulatory bodies in Alberta
• Experience in group facilitation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of family violence dynamics is a plus
Contribute your expertise in counselling and group facilitation to improve the lives of participants in Calgary.
