Support vulnerable individuals in Calgary as a Community Case Management Caseworker with the Calgary John Howard Society. Work hybrid to provide supervision and empower clients reintegrating into society.
As a vital part of the CCMS program, you will use your expertise in case management and community engagement to assist clients released from detention.
Your role includes assessing needs, creating viable support plans, and documenting client progress while fostering inclusive relationships. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to restorative justice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive file reviews for clients
• Create tailored release plans focusing on safety and compliance
• Document crisis plans, assessments, and case notes
• Offer support strategies for trauma-related challenges
• Cultivate community program engagement for participants
Requirements:
• Degree in human services, social work, or related fields
• 2+ years in intensive case management experience
• Insight into corrections preferred
• Brain Story Certification is an asset
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
Advance community safety and client empowerment as a CCMS Caseworker.
