Position: Compassionate Family Resource Worker Wanted

Support families and students as a Family Resource Worker in the Hanna area. This full-time temporary role focuses on addressing social and emotional challenges and requires strong communication skills.

This position is a 10-month maternity leave replacement from September 2026 to June 2027. You will engage with students and families, requiring effective organizational and planning abilities. Candidates with a College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant field will be prioritized, although relevant experience may suffice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with social and emotional challenges

• Develop and implement effective support strategies

• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

• Collaborate within a team-focused environment

• Address emergency call outs as necessary

Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in human services preferred

• Must be eligible for professional designation membership

• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license required

• Reliable vehicle and insurance necessary

• Background checks required before commencing
