Community Relations Coordinator

Position: Community Relations Coordinator at Goodwill
Become a Community Relations and Employment Coordinator with Goodwill Industries of Alberta in Calgary. This full-time role involves managing employment pathways for individuals facing barriers to employment.

As the Community Relations and Employment Coordinator, you will provide case management to adults with disabilities, ensuring they have access to job opportunities and support. You will collaborate with employers and assist clients in developing Individual Service Plans. Your efforts will focus on building community partnerships and facilitating meaningful employment for individuals seeking to enhance their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete client intake and onboarding processes

• Conduct Person-Centered Plan interviews to identify job aspirations

• Monitor Individual Service Plan documents collaboratively

• Facilitate annual planning meetings and revisions

• Network at community events to build employer relations

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant post-secondary education

• Minimum 2 years of experience with individuals facing barriers

• Valid First Aid certification

• Clean driving record and valid class 5 driver’s license

• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction
