Transform lives as a Youth Development Coordinator at Wellington Group Home. This part-time role focuses on nurturing youth through trauma-informed care and skilled support.

At McMan Calgary & Area, we are eager to find a compassionate Youth Development Coordinator. This position emphasizes care for sibling groups while fostering positive relationship development and cultural connectivity for Indigenous youth. You will guide youth through life skills and educational activities, aiming for self-sufficiency and holistic well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a trauma-sensitive environment

• Assist with youth daily routines and appointments

• Teach essential life management skills

• Organize social, educational, and cultural activities

• Handle case management and transition planning

Requirements:

• Human Services diploma or equivalent experience

• Relevant youth work or community leadership background

• Expertise in crisis intervention and relationship facilitation

• Understanding of Indigenous culture and experience with Indigenous youth

• Current driver’s license with adequate insurance
