Join Goodwill Industries of Alberta as a Community Relations and Employment Coordinator located in Calgary. This position offers a unique blend of case management for individuals facing employment barriers.
In your role as Community Relations and Employment Coordinator, you will provide essential support and guidance to adults with disabilities, ensuring they access valuable job opportunities. Your responsibilities will include completing client intakes, collaborating with employers, and conducting Person-Centered Plans that reflect individual goals and needs. Building strong relationships in the community will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete onboarding and eligibility assessments for clients
• Conduct interviews to identify client aspirations and needs
• Create Individual Service Plans and monitor progress
• Organize annual meetings to revise planning documents
• Establish partnerships with local employers and agencies
Requirements:
• Two years of relevant post-secondary education required
• Experience working with individuals with barriers to employment
• Valid First Aid certificate necessary
• Clean driving record with valid class 5 driver’s license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
