In your role as a Community Support Worker (CSW), you will collaborate with clients to enhance their independence and well-being through supportive interactions and skill development. Working closely with client guardians and respecting professional boundaries is vital to fostering an environment conducive to growth and inclusion within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop respectful relationships with clients
• Guide clients in achieving goals outlined in Individual Support Plans
• Support daily living skills and community integration
• Collaborate with guardians and support networks
• Complete client-focused paperwork timely and accurately
Requirements:
• Diploma in Disability Studies or related experience
• Knowledge of community resources and developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle preferred
• Committed to maintaining confidentiality in client interactions
