Wood’s Homes, a not-for-profit mental health centre, is hiring two Youth & Family Counsellors for a three-month term. You will work on rotating shifts providing services to children, youth, and families, ensuring a nurturing environment that fosters personal and social growth. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and adherence to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement structured settings for youth and families
• Participate actively in team and supervisory meetings
• Manage therapeutic responsibilities for assigned clients
• Maintain program living spaces and compliance with standards
• Assist with meal prep, cleaning, and transportation tasks
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Sciences or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and transportation
• Experience with youth preferred
