Position: Calgary Career Consultant for Disability Advocacy

This permanent full-time position requires a commitment to empowering marginalized populations. You will assist clients in career exploration, job placement, and ongoing support to ensure job satisfaction and retention. Collaboration with the CAES Diversity and Engagement Consultant will enhance outcomes in workplace diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help clients explore interests and identify career paths

• Assist with resume development and professional references

• Build and sustain relationships with inclusive employers

• Conduct advocacy for clients' rights in employment

• Facilitate client decision-making and service continuity

Requirements:

• Required degree or diploma in Human Services or similar field

• Experience working with marginalized communities

• Excellent advocacy and communication abilities

• Vehicle and valid driver's license considered assets

• Capable of managing a caseload of 17-25 clients
