Position: Temporary Community Support Worker Opportunity
Help empower adults with disabilities in NE Calgary as a Community Support Worker with Calgary Alternative Support Services (CASS). This full-time, temporary role fosters community connection and client independence.

In this critical position within CASS’s Calgary Alternative Day Options (CADO) program, you will provide valuable support that assists clients in achieving their personal goals and engaging with community resources. Your work will not only build independence but also create a positive influence within their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish professional relationships while respecting client boundaries

• Support clients in achieving goals detailed in their ISP

• Assist in daily living skills and community participation

• Maintain communication with client guardians for effective support

• Ensure timely completion of documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Human Services

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Commitment to confidentiality in client interactions

• Positive approach with adaptable communication skills

• Knowledge of supporting adults with disabilities is advantageous
