This fixed-term position runs from July to March 2027 and emphasizes compassionate, one-on-one coaching and peer support. Engage in recovery-oriented events and connect clients with essential resources as you foster a supportive recovery culture. You’ll collaborate with Recovery Advocates to help clients build their recovery capital crucial for their transition into stable housing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with clients and assist their recovery process
• Build rapport to coach clients towards their goals
• Facilitate peer-led support groups for empowerment
• Advocate for clients' needs and concerns
• Maintain accurate client documentation and records
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in a related field
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Knowledge of addictions and mental health challenges
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract
