Position: Mobile Support Outreach Worker
Support those in need through the Mobile Support Station as a Mobile Support Outreach Worker in Calgary. Ensure a safe, warm environment while providing essential services for the homeless.

The Salvation Army is seeking a Mobile Support Station Outreach Worker to manage the support program effectively. This part-time role involves traveling to various outdoor locations in Calgary, setting up the Support Station, and interacting compassionately with users. You will monitor compliance with program guidelines while ensuring a clean and welcoming space for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel and assist with the set-up of Support Stations

• Welcome and connect with participants accessing services

• Serve hot meals and maintain supplies for visitors

• Monitor adherence to program rules and safety protocols

• Document daily visitor records and maintain cleanliness

Requirements:

• High school diploma with relevant specialized training

• Minimum two years of experience in social services

• Current First Aid and Naloxone certification

• Class 5 driver’s license with driving experience

• Strong skills in de-escalation and crisis management

Utilize your outreach skills to foster relationships and meet immediate needs for those served by the Mobile Support Station.
