Reporting to the Resident Program Supervisor, you'll build strong connections with marginalized individuals and assist them in daily living skills. This role requires excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as the capacity to work within a team. Your work impacts residents’ lives positively by fostering community engagement and housing stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with residents to enhance daily living skills
• Support relationships between residents and their support networks
• Refer residents to appropriate case workers and services
• Document interactions and changes in resident behavior
• Host community events to foster engagement
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in a related field
• At least 1 year of experience with marginalized individuals
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively in challenging situations
• Passion for ending homelessness in Alberta
