The Mobile Support Station Outreach Worker plays a crucial role in assisting those in need through outreach efforts. This position requires travel to outdoor locations in Calgary to operate the Mobile Support Station effectively. You will establish rapport with participants, ensuring a clean and safe space while managing program adherence and addressing client needs compassionately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor participant activities and enforce program rules
• Facilitate Warming Station set-up and take-down
• Distribute hot meals and refreshments to attendees
• Maintain a supportive and friendly environment
• Conduct daily recordkeeping and reporting
Requirements:
• High school diploma; specialized training preferred
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Class 5 driver’s license with good driving record
• 2-3 years experience in social services
• Crisis management and de-escalation skills
