Position: Career Advisor for Employment Services
Support individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful employment as a Career Advisor with Work It Forward in Calgary. This full-time role combines coaching, group facilitation, and collaboration to empower clients.

Join a passionate team dedicated to community impact within our Employment Services. As a Career Advisor, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Job Developers, employing trauma-informed approaches to guide clients through all program phases. Your expertise will help individuals build confidence and gain job readiness through personalized action plans and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake and needs assessments for clients

• Facilitate career exploration and develop action plans

• Support clients in simulated work activities

• Deliver workshops on communication and job skills

• Provide ongoing progress meetings and transition support

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, or related field

• 2+ years in case management or disability services

• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches

• Experience with clients facing complex barriers

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
