Position: Outreach Worker for Mobile Support Station
Become a vital Outreach Worker at The Salvation Army's Mobile Support Station in Calgary. Engage with vulnerable individuals while ensuring safe and clean service in an outdoor setting.

In this part-time position, you'll collaborate closely with the Outreach Program Coordinator. Your responsibilities will include supporting participants, delivering hot meals, and fostering inviting atmospheres for visitors. This role demands compassion and effective conflict resolution skills while adhering to program rules and maintaining a clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Mobile Support Station activities and participant compliance

• Travel to outdoor locations and manage setup and teardown

• Welcome and connect with participants, tracking attendance

• Provide meals and maintain a supportive atmosphere

• Report daily records of visitors using HMIS

Requirements:

• High school diploma; courses in social work preferred

• Current First Aid certification and Naloxone training

• Class 5 driver's license with clean record

• 2-3 years of related frontline experience

• Strong de-escalation and crisis management skills
