This full-time role focuses on providing tailored behavioral support and psycho-educational instruction to students facing mental health challenges. You will work closely with families and colleagues to promote student success through collaboration. The position operates on a 10.5-month schedule, allowing you to make a consistent impact throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psycho-educational instruction in small groups
• Supervise students during activities and transitions
• Develop engaging group activities for therapeutic support
• Implement and assess individualized behavioral support plans
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques when required
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Services
• Experience with youth and mental health preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid Alberta driver's license
• Completion of related certifications an asset
