Community Support Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life. The ideal candidate will provide guidance, support, and supervision within a community setting, fostering independence and well‑being for those served. • Provide one‑on‑one support, assisting with daily activities and personal development.
• Monitor client progress and adjust support strategies as needed to promote independence.
• Facilitate group activities and community integration efforts to encourage social engagement.
• Supervise and participate with individuals during various activities, ensuring safety and adherence to program guidelines.
• Collaborate with other professionals, families, and community organizations to coordinate care and resources.
• Promote a positive environment that encourages growth, respect, and dignity for all clients.

• Prior inclusive community support experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic community setting.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in planning.
• Valid driver’s licence required with sufficient insurance.
• Valid Police Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid First Aid an asset.
• Must be committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions.

Pay: $21.54-$26.93 per hour
