Youth Development Coordinator at McMan

Drive youth development initiatives at Manhattan Place Group Home as a Youth Development Coordinator. This permanent full-time role focuses on empowering youth aged 12-17 through individualized support and care.

As part of McMan Calgary & Area, you will work within a community-focused environment to facilitate positive change for vulnerable youth. Employ your crisis intervention, communication, and coaching skills to promote safety, develop relationships, and help youths navigate life challenges. Your leadership will inspire a dedicated team to implement trauma-informed approaches effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate trauma-informed care and support

• Coordinate daily tasks and support staff training

• Transport youth to necessary appointments

• Champion organizational change and program initiatives

• Engage family members in youth support strategies

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Human Services

• 2–5 years in youth care or related settings

• Knowledge of natural supports and trauma impact

• Valid driver’s license with adequate coverage

• Current First Aid and Suicide Intervention certifications
