Program Facilitator - Hub

The Calgary John Howard Society (CJHS) is a charity that reduces crime and makes Calgary communities safer by helping youth and adults make positive changes and move away from criminal behaviour. We do this by addressing the root causes of crime through housing, education, employment programs and support so that individuals have alternatives to breaking the law. The Employment Hub is a dynamic, trauma-informed, and client-centered program designed to support adults who are currently involved in, or have had previous involvement with, the criminal justice system. Recognizing the complex barriers faced by this population, the Hub offers a comprehensive range of employment-focused services that promote personal growth, economic independence, and long-term community reintegration.

Reporting to the Employment Hub Manager, the Program Facilitator coordinates and delivers services within the Employment Hub. This role involves scheduling workshops, facilitating soft-skill sessions, and collaborating with internal teams and community partners to support client success.

• Coordinate annual program schedules and arrange industry certification trainings.
• Facilitate workshops and provide individual support.
• Network with service providers and promote the program.
• Manage data collection, case documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Complete funding reports and maintain program compliance.
• Attend team and agency meetings; provide coverage as needed.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Group facilitation experience (pre-employment skills training preferred)
• Understanding of the criminal justice system (asset).
• Experience working with marginalized populations (asset).
• Brain Story Certification (asset).
• Current Criminal Record Check (CPIC) required (within the past six months).

This is a Full-Time, 40 hours per week position with benefits.
