Join Wood's Homes as a Youth & Family Counsellor and support young individuals from Calgary. This position focuses on structured guidance and therapeutic interventions.
Wood's Homes is seeking two dynamic Youth & Family Counsellors for a temporary three-month role. As the primary support for children, youth, and families, you'll work around the clock in a collaborative environment. Your efforts will contribute to developing essential life skills among clients while ensuring safety and compliance with health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster personal development in structured settings
• Engage in team meetings and training sessions
• Conduct therapeutic responsibilities for clients
• Uphold living space standards and program requirements
• Assist with the daily operations of the program
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Social Sciences or equivalent
• 2-4 years of related experience required
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Must possess a class 5 driver’s license
• Experience working with youth is an asset
