As a pivotal member of the Student Wellness Services team, you will provide comprehensive support to Indigenous students. Your skills in case management and mental health will help you connect vulnerable student communities with resources. Collaboration with faculties and external organizations is essential to enhance the emotional well-being and academic success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct one-on-one assessments and consultations for students
• Facilitate crisis interventions and mental health assessments
• Develop outreach programs to engage Indigenous students
• Collaborate with diverse departments for comprehensive support
• Deliver workshops fostering positive academic environments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work with ACSW registration
• 1-2 years of mental health case management experience
• Proven crisis intervention expertise
• Strong understanding of Indigenous trauma and healing
• Effective communication and presentation skills
Utilize your social work background to support Indigenous students' success within the U of C community.
