Position: Relief Resident Support Worker Needed
The Salvation Army seeks a Relief Resident Support Worker to assist individuals in a residential facility. This role involves administrative tasks, resident support, and enforcing safety protocols in a compassionate environment.

You will provide essential services to residents as part of a dedicated team at The Salvation Army. Responsibilities include conducting intake interviews, monitoring safety, and ensuring policy adherence. The position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various resident needs and concerns effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct resident intake interviews and assessments

• Enforce policies, providing guidance to residents

• Monitor safety and verify resident identification

• Liaise with internal and external support services

• Maintain daily logs and complete documentation

Requirements:

• High school diploma plus additional specialized courses

• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

• Current Standard First Aid certification and CPR

• Over three months of relevant frontline experience

• Strong skills in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
