Lead inclusive activities as a Program Leader at Between Friends, enriching lives through community connections and new adventures across Alberta.
Your role as a Program Leader focuses on creating safe and engaging experiences for participants in social and recreational events. Leading various activities, you'll help foster friendships and build confidence among members. This position requires teamwork and strong communication skills to ensure that all participants feel valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate programs promoting friendship and personal growth
• Provide tailored support for participants in all activities
• Create an inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved
• Work collaboratively to ensure programs run smoothly
• Assist with the logistical aspects of trip planning
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification required
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is ideal
• Skills in personal care and mobility assistance
• Ability to pass an Enhanced Canadian Criminal Record Check
