Social Workers NOC -Demand

Responsibilities

• Helping clients receive services over the phone and in person.
• Engaging clients in beneficial activities.
• Client evaluation and information gathering.
• Providing information and assistance to clients and their families.
• Making contact with and referring to other agencies and services.
• Keeping accurate records and creating reports.
• Attending training, supervision, and meetings.
• Keep an eye out for signs of child abuse.
• Offer crisis intervention.

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Working experience with clients affected by issues such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health issues, and parental substance abuse.
• Capability to pay close attention to what social service clients say, understand their points, ask questions, and not interrupt inappropriately.
• Understanding others' reactions and why they react the way they do.
• Ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of various social service and health-care interventions and select the best one.
• Capable of performing a variety of tasks on a computer. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills are required.
• Ability to remain calm and empathize with upset clients.
• Clinical social worker with a license.
• Capable of developing a treatment plan.

• Full time Permanent Position
• 30 to 48 hours per week
• Salary: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
