Recovery Support Worker at Alpha House

Join Alpha House as a Recovery Support Worker, offering vital assistance in recovery and community engagement. Contribute through case planning, program delivery, and client support during weekdays.

In this permanent, full-time role, you will help clients navigate recovery goals and enhance stability. As part of the Transitions Team, your duties include developing recovery-focused programming and responding to crises. You will also maintain documentation and support general program operations to uphold Alpha House values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recovery-focused case plans

• Provide transportation to clients for various appointments

• Offer educational presentations on health and addiction

• Maintain accurate client files and daily statistics

• Support program operations with compliance and cleanliness

Requirements:

• Minimum two-year diploma in a relevant field

• Two years of casework experience with addiction or homelessness

• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and services preferred

• Strong communication and rapport-building skills

• Class 5 driver's license and ability to drive a large van
