This permanent, full-time role involves working in Calgary and requires strong advocacy skills for those with disabilities. The Community Support Worker III is responsible for designing and delivering person-centered services, while ensuring compliance with CAPCC program policies. Building positive relationships with clients is essential for effective service delivery and social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish positive relationships with clients and support networks
• Provide direct support in community-based settings
• Develop and implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions
• Connect clients with community resources to support their inclusion
Requirements:
• Post secondary education in Human Services
• Current Basic First Aid Certification with CPR/AED
• Valid Police Information Check for vulnerable sectors
• A vehicle and valid driver’s license preferred
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities is beneficial
