Fear Is Not Love  is hiring a Helpline Counsellor for its Client Services Program, scheduled for Fridays through Sundays. In this role, you will offer crisis intervention, assess caller needs, and provide information regarding domestic violence resources. Your commitment will contribute to empowering individuals seeking safety and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold dignity while answering helpline calls

• Deliver crisis counselling and essential resource information

• Manage intake for those seeking shelter assistance

• Ensure documented case consultations are completed

• Collaborate with outreach teams to streamline support

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Services or equivalent

• Experience supporting people in crisis preferred

• Familiarity with mental health and domestic violence resources

• Active registration with a professional body, if applicable

• Ongoing training is required for this role
