Accredited Family Support Practitioner

Accredited Supports to the Community is hiring a Family Support Practitioner to provide essential guidance to families in Wheatland County. Focus on child development and support families with children aged 0-6.

In this full-time role, you'll offer personalized support to families facing challenges related to developmental delays and complex needs. Your expertise will empower parents by providing strategies for enhancing their child's emotional and cognitive growth. With excellent communication skills, you will foster strong relationships built on trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute case management adhering to policies

• Attend to high-volume caseloads independently

• Conduct scheduled home visits for support

• Help families identify developmental concerns

• Assist clients in setting and achieving goals

Requirements:

• Human Services Degree or Diploma preferred

• At least 2 years of experience working with families

• Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license

• Deep knowledge of early childhood development

• Complete Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention checks
