Indigenous Family Support Home Visitor

This role involves engaging with families seeking help from the Family Resource Network, focusing on children aged 0-6. You will provide culturally sensitive support and practical assistance, enhancing their parenting capabilities and connection to their heritage. Flexibility in working hours is required to meet the needs of the families you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess emotional health needs of families
• Support family skill development in diverse settings
• Engage families with traditional knowledge and practices
• Collaborate on goal planning and execution
• Provide resource materials for parenting education
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in relevant field
• Experience aiding vulnerable families
• Understanding of Indigenous histories and culture
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
