Relief Support Worker at CASS

Empower marginalized individuals as a Relief Support Worker with Calgary Alternative Support Services (CASS). This role focuses on providing support for independence and community engagement on an as-needed basis.

CASS is seeking a General Relief Worker for its Calgary operation. You will assist clients in achieving goals outlined in their Individual Support Plans (ISP) while fostering independence in daily living skills. This includes building professional relationships with clients and guardians to enhance the community experience for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish professional boundaries and positive client relationships

• Assist in developing client goals and objectives

• Support independent living skills and community inclusion

• Maintain accurate and timely client paperwork

• Adhere to CASS policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Human Services

• Strong communication skills and confidentiality

• Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification

• Current police information check required
