Calgary Community Support Worker Position

Join Calgary Alternative Support Services' mission to enhance lives as a Community Support Worker III. Directly aid marginalized individuals with disabilities by fostering community connections and person-centered support.

This full-time position in Calgary focuses on delivering quality services in line with CAPCC program policies. The Community Support Worker III plays a vital role in creating positive change for clients through individualized support and by promoting inclusion in the community. Your collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will ensure that each client's needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster relationships with clients and guardians

• Aid clients in community settings and participation

• Develop and oversee Individual Service Plans (ISPs)

• Document client progress and interactions accurately

• Facilitate connections to community resources

Requirements:

• Relevant post secondary education in Human Services

• First Aid and CPR/AED certification necessary

• Comprehensive Police Information Check needed

• Vehicle and driver's license are advantageous

• Preferred expertise in supporting adults with developmental disabilities
