Position: Cultural Services Knowledge Keeper Role
Join Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services as a Knowledge Keeper in Cultural Services. This pivotal role ensures cultural appropriateness in services for families aligning with Anishnaabe values.

Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services is looking for five skilled Knowledge Keepers. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will integrate cultural teachings and ceremonies into Wellness Plans for clients. You will work closely with staff to provide holistic support for children, youth, and families, safeguarding the integrity of cultural practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Cultural Services Team on program delivery

• Integrate cultural knowledge into Wellness Plans for client services

• Facilitate ceremonies and provide cultural services

• Promote Anishinaabe beliefs and practices in services

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Social Services or Native Studies

• 3 years of experience in developing cultural programs

• Proficiency in Anishinaabemowin is an asset

• Experience with First Nation communities

• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
