Position: Part-Time Support Worker for Residents
Work with The Salvation Army as a part-time Resident Support Worker during weekends. Focus on empowering individuals experiencing homelessness while maintaining a respectful environment.

As a key part of the Resident Support Team, you will provide essential services to men in a residential housing setting.

Your role will involve guiding residents toward healthy lifestyle choices, managing their intake, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support residents in distress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage admissions and orientation for new residents

• Ensure ongoing compliance with safety guidelines

• Assist in resolving resident conflicts and concerns

• Conduct wellness checks and maintain safety protocols

• Complete daily logs and program documentation as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma plus additional training

• Valid police check and first aid certification

• Experience in social services or supportive roles

• Proficient in observation and calm response techniques

• Capability to perform light physical tasks
