Position: Part-Time Family Supports Navigator Role
Join YW Calgary as a Family Supports Navigator and provide essential services to children, youth, and families in Calgary. This part-time role requires flexibility to meet community needs.

As a Family Supports Navigator, you will facilitate access to the Family Resource Network through referral and coordination services. Utilizing a family-centered approach, you will help families identify strengths and navigate available resources effectively. Your collaboration with community partners will be vital in promoting positive service outcomes for families facing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to inquiries from families and community partners

• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and screenings

• Support families in developing goals and service plans

• Maintain accurate documentation and case records

• Advocate for families to overcome service barriers

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in relevant social services field

• At least two years of experience in support roles

• Experience with complex family needs and barriers

• Knowledge of local community resources and systems

• Familiarity with trauma-informed practices
