Join SAIT as an Indigenous Housing, Success, and Retention Specialist, focusing on advancing Indigenous student achievement. This role emphasizes culturally grounded programming and student support services.
You will lead initiatives to support Indigenous learners through the Indigenous Student Housing Program, shaping retention strategies that promote academic success. Collaborating closely with campus partners, your focus will be on creating a supportive and safe environment while delivering impactful programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee student selection and housing program delivery
• Implement retention strategies for improving student persistence
• Provide early intervention for students needing support
• Design initiatives that foster community and student engagement
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience with Indigenous communities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and partnership building capabilities
• Experience in program evaluation and improvement
