Make a difference in Calgary as a Youth Life Skills Mentor with The Dollar Detectives. Support young participants in developing confidence and financial skills within a collaborative environment.
This position requires engaging with youth aged 13 to 30, helping them enhance their financial literacy and life skills. As a mentor, you will leverage your communication strengths to build valuable relationships and guide young people in achieving their goals. The role requires a passion for mentoring and a commitment to fostering resilience and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one mentorship to youth participants
• Assist youth in setting and achieving personal goals
• Support completion of capstone projects
• Offer guidance on life skills and financial literacy
• Build relationships with community organizations
Requirements:
• Passion for mentoring youth from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Some experience working with youth preferred
• Background check completion required
• Availability for evening shifts and training
Support young individuals in their journey to financial empowerment and skill development.
