We have partnered with a local non‑profit organization to support them in hiring a Program Supervisor/Coach.

Our client is a well‑respected non‑profit organization dedicated to empowering youth through compassionate support, life skills development, and individualized coaching. They are seeking an experienced Program Supervisor/Coach to join their team on a full‑time contract basis, lasting 6-months. This role combines hands‑on youth coaching with program leadership, providing oversight of daily operations, supervising support services, and ensuring high‑quality program delivery. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to guide both participants and staff while fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Provide one‑on‑one coaching, mentorship, and ongoing support to youth participating in community programs.
• Assist participants in developing and achieving goals related to housing, education, employment, wellness, financial literacy, and independent living.
• Supervise day‑to‑day program operations while providing leadership, guidance, and support to staff.
• Coordinate participant intake, referrals, program admissions, and community resource connections.
• Develop, organize, and facilitate workshops and life skills programming.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, referral partners, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor participant progress while maintaining accurate case notes, documentation, and program reports.
• Track program outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support alumni engagement and encourage ongoing participation in community programming and events.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and program standards are consistently followed.
• Participate in staff meetings, organizational initiatives, and ongoing professional development.

Education:

• Post‑secondary education in Social Work, Child & Youth Care, Human Services, Psychology, Community Development, or a related discipline is considered a strong asset.

Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable working fully in office/onsite.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle is required.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certification is required.
• RCMP Criminal Record Check is required.
• Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
• Child Intervention Check is required.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in youth services, social services, case management, coaching, or a similar leadership role.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting youth experiencing complex barriers, housing instability, or other vulnerable circumstances is highly valued.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and positive relationships.
• Excellent conflict resolution, problem‑solving, and sound decision‑making abilities.

• A compassionate, empathetic, and professional approach when working with vulnerable youth.
• Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong documentation, case management, and administrative abilities.
• A passion for community engagement and helping youth achieve long‑term success.

Base Salary:$65,000 – 70,000 per year

• Salary based on experience.

Work Hours:

• 40 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday.
• Weekend and weeknight availability is required.

Additional Notes:

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
