Full-Time Overnight Youth Worker

Support at-risk youth during overnight hours with the Calgary John Howard Society's Raido House. This full-time position emphasizes housing stability and independent living skills.

As a Full-Time Awake Overnight Youth Worker, you will report to the Raido House Team Lead while providing crucial support to youth aged 15-18.

Your role involves fostering individualized goal-setting related to educational opportunities, health, and living skills. This position plays a vital role in the transition of youth to adulthood in a compassionate, trauma-informed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and supervise youth within Raido House

• Role model and teach independent living skills

• Collaborate with the Residential Casework Team

• Navigate crisis situations using restorative practices

• Document assessments and participate in team communication

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma in a related field

• 2+ years experience with at-risk youth

• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills

• Police Information Check and Child Intervention Record Check required

• Brain Story Certification is an asset
