Support Worker for Homeless Shelters

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee admissions and conduct intake interviews

• Ensure safety protocols are followed by monitoring interactions

• Offer support during conflicts and promote conflict resolution

• Update daily logs and maintain communication records

• Assist in administrative duties and overall program support

Requirements:

• Completed high school diploma and specialized courses

• Valid Police Information Check and Child Intervention Clearance

• Minimum experience of three months in social services

• Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and stress management

• Current Standard First Aid certification
