You'll be a key player in KDFN’s Justice team, working directly with youth to foster their confidence and connection to KDFN culture. The position requires designing impactful programs, supporting at-risk youth, and collaborating with various departments for comprehensive wellness support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage youth at home, in community, and on the land
• Create and deliver youth-centered wellness programs
• Provide advocacy for youth navigating challenges
• Work alongside multiple KDFN teams for support
• Deliver culturally-informed crisis intervention when necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field
• At least two years of experience in youth support programs
• Strong knowledge of Yukon First Nation culture
• Experience in facilitating land-based activities
• Valid Class 5 Driver's license and transportation
